Pincushion Bed and Breakfast is a secluded retreat, enjoyed by hikers, cross-country skiers, mountain bikers and people who simply need a quiet restful home away from home. Right off the Gunflint Trail, Pincushion is only 3 miles from Grand Marais, Minnesota's renowned harbor, restaurants, shops, galleries and new center for performing arts. We are also only 24 miles from BWCA canoe entry points. Open all seasons of the year, the B&B is surrounded by forest of birch, aspen, pine and maple on 18 private acres.

The B&B sits high on the quiet Sawtooth Mountain ridgeline, 1,000 feet above Lake Superior's scenic North Shore. You will enjoy a magnificent overlook of Lake Superior, the Devil Track River Valley and forest of aspen, pine and birch. For a quiet romantic escape, a few days exploring the many miles of trails, or a little of both, the dense birch / aspen forest and spectacular views provide the perfect backdrop.
